Application deadline: February 1 for positions starting in mid-May
Eligibility: UA undergraduate any year, any major (must be an undergraduate at the time of participation)
Program benefits and other information: Paid research experience in a biologically-related laboratory. Participants can work year round, but must start during the summer and be willing to commit to 12 weeks full time. Those who work through UBRP during the summer and can devote a minimum of 15 hours per week to research during the academic year are eligible to apply for the academic year positions.

Program benefits and other information: paid research experience; students paired with faculty mentors. Program supports 25 -30 students per summer, 10 weeks; participants present their research at program colloquium.
Program: Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC)

Eligibility: UA undergraduate underrepresented minority; sophomore or junior majoring in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biophysics, general biology, molecular and cellular biology, nutritional science, math, microbiology, physiological sciences (or pre-major), psychology, speech and hearing science
Program benefits and other information: unique research, mentoring, financial and academic opportunity for the last two years of enrollment at the University of Arizona for underrepresented minority students who have interest and potential to pursue careers in biomedical research; financial benefits include tuition support, health insurance, monthly stipend.

Eligibility: Full-time UA and Pima CC sophomores-seniors
Program benefits and other information: Interns are paid an hourly wage to work on a wide-range of projects spanning the research foci of all NASA mission directorates. Interns will work alongside upper-level graduate students and practicing scientists/engineers both on campus and occasionally off-campus with local, regional and national research organizations and with high-tech industry.

Eligibility: Be a junior or senior (and be within two years of graduation) at the University of Arizona. Intend to pursue a Ph.D. after graduation (professional degrees such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or law are not eligible). Have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA.
