Oscar Wilde’s "The Importance of Being Earnest" is the quintessential British comedy of manner and style. Two bachelors, Algernon and Jack, seek the hands of their true loves—only to realize their names stand in the way of romance.
| Will Gwendolen and Cecily find their ideals in Jack and Algernon? Will Algernon’s aunt, the Lady Bracknell, ruin all for the young lovers? And why can’t cucumbers be found for ready money? |

Wilde’s fantastic wit and caricatures of High Society make this play both a masterpiece and a delight. |
Students performing in the play are not theater arts majors. If you aspire to act, were involved in theater in high school or community college, or just want to give it a try, come out for the auditions.
We guarantee a lot of FUN!!!! |
