National Scholar Award: Scholarship Details

A scholarship should do more than just get you in the door.

At The University of Arizona, the National Scholars Award offers the financial freedom to explore your many talents and passions and enjoy the complete university experience without the stress of finding work or accumulating debt. The award is intended to substantially help defray the cost of tuition, room and board.

In addition to a generous scholarship program, UA pledges (exclusively for National Scholars) guaranteed admission to the Honors College , a faculty mentor and excursions to social and cultural events in our community.

Best yet, if you plan to go on to graduate or professional school, you will receive the academic preparation you need for success without the debt that could otherwise limit your options.

Scholarship value will be first applied to university expenses such as tuition and on-campus housing. The remainder will be refunded to students to be used for educational expenses such as textbooks, off-campus housing, or meal plans. This scholarship supersedes other tuition waivers or scholarships that are applied first to tuition.
