Amanda Beauvais (Smith)

After graduating from UA in 2005, I moved to Boston with my now-husband and began my career in corporate retail and merchandising. I've been behind-the-scenes working with product development, visual merchandising, buying, and inventory control. I've spent the majority of my time working in fashion, although I am currently working with toys, educational products and infant items.

Although I've enjoyed my time in retail, I am currently considering going back to school to earn my Master's degree in Psychology. I've realized that business of any kind is built on relationships and human interactions, all of which have made me very interested in the psychology field. At the end of the day I want to feel as though I've helped others and made a positive impact on society, which is one reason I think I will use my advanced degree to pursue therapy or counseling.

The world is full of possibility and everything is truly what you make of it. You can achieve whatever it is you put your mind and heart to.
