Aly Graham
Aly is an interesting first name, but he prefers Al. His grandson Kelley is one year old and his daughter Rachael and son-in-law Gabe are expecting to name a granddaughter Rebel, after him, in a month. His other daughter, Morgan, is currently a senior at the University of Arizona studying political science. He met his sweetheart, Diane, through the Tucson Fun and Adventure Club and they continue to enjoy adventures years later. Al is a long term resident of Tucson. He moved here to study Nuclear Engineering at the University of Arizona after serving a US Navy enlistment during the Vietnam war. He is originally from Elizabeth in Northern New Jersey. Al works for Raytheon as a Principal Multi-disciplined Engineer in the Discrimination Products Department of the Signal Processing Center. Al was a member of the RMS team that produced the recent successful spy satellite destruction. He is a co-lead of the RMS Computational Science and Engineering Community of Practice. Previous career positions included contract work for the Army at Fort Huachuca and positions in the commercial semiconductor industry. He is an Applied Mathematician and Nuclear Engineer. He has a bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Arizona. Al is a member of many organizations, including: American Mathematical Society, Friends of the Tucson Community Theater, Toastmasters, and Independent Film Association of Southern Arizona. Al Graham is a long time Toastmaster. He is President and former Producer of TV Toastmasters – Live! Al is an Advanced Toastmaster Silver and Competent Leader and has almost achieved Advanced Toastmaster Gold. Al was just voted Vice-President of IFASA. He participates in many activities, e.g. Hiking, Roller Blading, Digital Video Editing, and Acting. He performed the role of Antonio in the El Rio Theatre Projects Fall 2008 production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. He completed four years of the Access Television show TV Toastmasters - Live! He has several other television shows in post-production. He also has a couple of film acting credits and intends to have more. He is taking a class in feature film production to prepare for his first film feature.
