Brian Coppa

After graduating from the UofA in 1999 with a BS in Physics and Minor in Economics, Brian attended North Carolina State University to study Materials Science and Engineering and he completed his Ph.D. in 2003. His thesis research was published in "Applied Physics Letters" and the "Journal of Applied Physics." Thereafter, he joined the R&D Department at Micron Technology Inc. in Boise, ID as a process development engineer for memory devices used in computers, cell phones and digital cameras. During the summer of 2007, he became a consultant concerning electronic materials and alternative energy technology for Gerson Lehrman Group Inc., which is an international industrial research firm that supports the leading investment firms globally.
