Jennifer Ellen Spiegel

I graduated with honors from U. of A. in 1992 (I think? It may have been 1991, frankly--I know I stuck around Tucson for another year.) with a degree in Political Science and Creative Writing. All geared up for a career in International Relations, I got my MA from NYU in that field. I worked in NYC for a number of years--at Amnesty International, the United Nations Association-USA, and the Council on Foreign Relations. Then, I quit that life, went to South Africa for six months, and ended up finishing the nineties back in Arizona. This time, I got an MFA in Creative Writing from ASU. My real career as an English prof and wannabe fiction-writer began around 1999. I got married in 2004 to Tim Bell and now have two seriously gorgeous daughters, Wendy Ireland and Melody Prose.
