- Intended to provide for the graduate education of young men and women of exceptional promise in the arts, humanities, and social sciences
- Scholars must utilize all of the funding within 5 years of completion of undergraduate studies
- Open to undergraduate juniors who plan to enter a master’s or doctoral program in the arts, humanities, or social sciences
- Applicants must be US citizens, and have a documented history or receiving need-based financial aid during his or her undergraduate years
