- Intended to recruit talented students in academic programs relevant to international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy
- Provides funding for undergraduate juniors and seniors OR funding for first and second year graduate students
- Applicants must be US citizens, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Successful candidates are obligated to 3 – 4.5 years of service in the US Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer
