Welcome all 2007 Honors Freshmen!
We, the students and staff who have chosen this year's common reading book, have designed a program for you to get better acquainted with the book, the university, and each other. We hope that through book talks, residence hall activities, movie nights, and general class discussions that each and every one of you will be able to grow as a student and as an individual.
On this Web site, you will be able to find a calendar of events detailing times and places for all upcoming activities, links to Afghan recipes, suggested readings, and a short biography on all of us affiliated with the birth of this year's program.
Please feel free to contribute to the online forum or shoot any of us an e-mail with questions. We look forward to accompanying you throughout your freshman journey as an Honors Student and are thrilled to share Tamim Ansary's “West of Kabul, East of New York” with you.
Congratulation and good luck! |
