The Honors College Induction Ceremony is the official welcome for first-year students and their families. This event marks the.only time prior to graduation that the entire Class of 2021 gathers as one. This is a time for everyone - students, parents, faculty, and staff- to meet one another, talk about the University, and articulate some of the ideals that define us as a place of learning and growth.
NOTE: There is a UA campus-wide honors convocation ceremony for sophomores, juniors and seniors on Friday, October 13 of Family Weekend. This is not an Honors College ceremony and should not be confused with the Honors College New Student Induction Ceremony on Saturday, October 14, 2017!
Attire: nice casual (Family Weekend comfortable)
Please plan to arrive between 9:30 am and 9:45 am - seating is limited and on a first-come basis. Students and their families can be seated together. The program will begin at 10:00am.

Immediately following the ceremony, students, their families, and staff are invited to a reception in the courtyard.
