I Mentor Because...I am a mentor because I want incoming students to have a built-in support system when they first arrive. When I was an incoming freshman, I was incredibly anxious about all the new experiences and challenges college would bring. Luckily I had a sophomore friend, who supported and helped me navigate my freshmen year. I also mentor because I am passionate and excited about forming new and deep connections with others.
