I Joined FHA Because... I joined the FHA because I remember having so many questions when I was a freshman. When I went to the FHA webinars, they were always so insightful, and it gave me a space to ask the random questions I had. Now as an FHA, I want to be able to relieve the stress/worry freshmen may be feeling as they’re coming into college! I’ve also loved my experience in the honors college, and want to be able to share that with others and show why it was such a great choice to choose to be here!
My Favorite Honors Course was... one of my seminar classes that I took freshman year. The topic was all about AI in healthcare and it was super interesting and insightful. Every class was a discussion, and because we were a smaller class our professor let us sit outside in the grass every single week. We came to class having done research beforehand on the topic of the week, and we would just discuss our thoughts and what we found.
Favorite Spots on Campus: Bear Down Gym. It’s a good space to study, and because it’s fairly new it always is super nice and comfortable. The spots outside are really nice, but there is also good seats inside with a good view.
Fun Fact: A couple years ago, I went skydiving with some friends!
