
Student Spotlight: Robert Gonzalez
Robert Gonzalez likes rock climbing, running, and tailgating. But one of his other favorite activities is spending time in the laboratory, and he dreams of one day running his own research lab.
A passion for research has defined Robert's experience in The Honors College. "The most influential organization on campus for me," he says, "was the Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP)."

Life is Good for Alumnus Traveling the World as a Cinematographer
Alex Lau ('07) is from Flagstaff, Arizona and currently lives near the beach in Destin, Florida. He graduated with Honors from UA in May 2007 with a BFA in Media Arts, a BA in Journalism, and a minor in Chinese language. Alex is currently working on a travel show for National Geographic.

Honors Student Bikes Across Country
Honors student Peter Raisanen is biking across the country this summer to raise money for the Children's Heart Foundation, which funds research on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.
Peter says, "I am living my dream of adventure and traveling among all the people who make our lives richer."
